The 30 strongest of the 689 inventory optimization apps in our index of the Shopify App Store category chart, scored on four things we measure ourselves: how many stores use it, how well those stores rate it, whether it is gaining or losing ground, and what it costs. No editor picks the order, and nobody can pay to move up it.
Five ways to be the right inventory optimization app. Each award is the highest scorer that fits it, and no app can win twice.
The highest total score in the category: 38 reviews at 5.0, and 94.8 out of 100 on adoption against every other inventory optimization app.
The strongest app here with no paid tier at all — 41 reviews, rated 5.0, and $0 whatever your volume.
No free tier, so the price component holds it down the ranked list — but 166 merchants rate it 4.9, and it starts at $4.99/month.
Gained 17 reviews in the last 8 days and climbed 3 places in the category chart.
376 reviews — more than anything else Shopify files under inventory optimization — and still rated 5.0.
Sorted by BestAppify Score. The four bars under each app are its percentile within this category on each component — a 90 on adoption means only a tenth of inventory optimization apps have more reviews.

The BestAppify Score is four measurements, each turned into a percentile against the other inventory optimization apps and then weighted. It is computed from our own crawl of the App Store — no human ranks these, and no app can pay to move.
What it cannot see: whether the app is any good at the job. Nothing here reads the feature list or installs the app, so treat the score as a shortlist, not a verdict — it tells you which three or four of these 30 are worth an hour of your evening, and no more than that. Apps whose pricing the crawler could not read score below the paid range on price rather than in the middle of it, deliberately: a price you cannot check before installing is a cost too. Momentum is measured over the last 8 days — the run of days on which our coverage of this category has been complete enough for one day's rank to mean the same thing as another's. It is deliberately shorter for categories we finished crawling recently: a rank of 4th out of the 28 apps we had in July is not comparable to 6th out of 436 today, and treating it as though it were would have scored every established app in some categories as falling.
